Acts
pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
God is always faithful, Jesus Christ paid for our sins, all of our sins.

Acts 8:1-3
1 And Saul (Paul) was consenting unto his (Stephen) death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at
2 And devout men carried Stephen [to his burial], and made great lamentation over him.
3 As for Saul, (Paul) he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed [them] to prison.

Paul was forgiven and walked with God, receiving the greatest abundance of revelation ever given to one man.

1 John 1:7-10
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
